VinFast VF 8 Recall

There's a glitch in the system with some VinFast VF 8s. Almost a thousand of these rides have a software bug that can blank out the dashboard. This means you might not see important safety stuff like speed or warnings. That's not good! Because of this, VinFast is recalling those VF 8s to get the software fixed. Better safe than sorry

Experienced this in my VF8. At first, I assumed it had to do with my battery. When I get into the car, it starts up normally, but the dashboard display remains blank. Here's what solved it for me: I completely locked the car, closing all doors and windows, and then left it for about 15 minutes. After that, when I restart it, the display works normally.

This is incredibly frustrating! I've had this issue happen a few times now. I tried turning off the car, ensuring that all of the doors and windows were closed and locked. Then, when I return after about 15 minutes and attempt to reboot it (assuming the car is in sleep mode by then), it still does not respond.
