So I've been noticing that some EVs, like the VinFast, have their charging ports up front, while others stick them at the back. Which do you guys prefer? Does it even matter, or is it just a small detail? Any perks or downsides to having it in one spot over the other? Does it mess with how fast you can juice up, or is it all about convenience?

Looks like they might switch up charging port locations next year. I’m pretty sure they’ll adopt the NACS (Tesla) port for their cars, and that’s gonna need to be either on the driver’s side in the back or the passenger side in the front. Or, who knows, maybe they’ll go with a dual port - one on each side of the car.

I prefer front-mounted ports, it is easier to access in tight spots and public chargers. Rear ports feel more like gas cars but can be trickier at some stations. Well, just my personal preference..
