Is $45 for 51 minutes of charging on EA normal?

Is this logical? After 51 minutes of charging my VF8 from 35% to 90%, EA charged me $45 for the service. A little steep, huh? Has anyone else encountered this?

51 minutes is quite a long time. 90% is also quite a high target for public charging. I rarely go above 80% on DCFC - see https://ev80quette.com/

$45 is almost half as expensive as gas FFS! 😜

A bit on the steep side, but DCFC often is. I do well over 95% of my charging at home, for about the price of a coffee a week, except on road trips, when, yes, I expect to sometimes pay almost half as much as gas

Yeah, that’s steep. I usually charge at home too, but road trips make me more aware of how pricey DCFC can get.
