Is $45 for 51 minutes of charging on EA normal?

Is this logical? After 51 minutes of charging my VF8 from 35% to 90%, EA charged me $45 for the service. A little steep, huh? Has anyone else encountered this?

Why don't you become a member of EA? You would end up way cheaper.

Someone said the same thing, I’m considering EA membership, but the charge felt a bit steep for just 51 minutes.
